Scientist.
I am perpetually curious, and science has always been an outlet for my curiosity. From the smallest of microorganisms to the largest of galaxies, I have always sought to understand as much as I can about the world around me. My academic background is in chemistry, astronomy, math, and physics, and I had always imagined myself pursuing a Ph.D. and working in a lab.
Journalist.
But plans change. Several years into college, I discovered my passion for writing and decided to make a career of sharing my love for science with others. Science is for everyone, and I aim to engage audiences by explaining science in an accessible way and by using storytelling as a means for scientific communication.
Human.
In telling these stories, I seek to intimately link science to the people it affects.
The story of science is, ultimately, a human story.
